iPod Touch


What is it?
  • iPod touch is a "toolbox," comprised of numerous software applications ("apps") for a wide variety of uses (personal, educational, professional).

How can you use it?
  • Numerous free applications for math, language arts, ESL, world languages, special education, history, science.
  • Curricular applications for K-12
Why would you use it?
  • Examples: Language Arts; students create and/or listen to podcasts, students record themselves for reading fluency; Math: students use interactive algebra apps
  • Examples: Tests can be read, chapters put in and students, particularly special ed students, can listen to the test, stopping as they need to and continuing when they are ready.
  • Examples: Labs can be videoed and made into a video podcast for students who are absent or need to review the lesson. Electrolysis of Water
